I’m lucky to have found friends who wanted to try glamping with me. It’s been on my list of things to experience for quite some time now. I found the perfect glamp site in Nayomi Sanctuary Resort in Balete, Batangas. It was an easy breezy trip that took less than an hour to reach the resort (thanks to the SLEX and Star Tollway connection).
Finally I’ve visited Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo last month. I’ve been seeing photos of this art museum all over my Facebook timeline and Instagram for sometime now (and loving all the photos!). I have to say it really is a beautiful place. I loved sitting on one of the beds (almost lying down actually) under a tree around the museum’s open area. It was an inspiring place whether I was indoor or outdoor in this property.
I am obsessed with tea rooms. As I wrote in my previous post about The English Rose Tea Room, I dream of one day opening my own tea room in Manila.
Another tea room that I went to with my sister is Lovejoy’s Tea Room in San Francisco. It was another delightful experience at a tea room (and again a full house!). Look at the sign that welcomed us.
My sister and I love going to tea rooms for afternoon tea. Every time I visit her in the Bay Area in California we make it a point to schedule an afternoon tea date. I even want to open my own tea room in Manila! I hope that dream will happen soon.
The first one we tried was The English Rose in downtown Pleasanton, California. I loved their mismatched furniture and tea sets, the variety of tea and all the little details they put in for a wonderful afternoon tea experience. It was also a full house and it took us days to get a table!
The lovely tea room with mismatched furniture, chandeliers and flowers.

I attended Inquirer Lifestyle’s Best Desserts 3 book launch written by Vangie Baga-Reyes last February 6 at the SMX Convention Centre at SM Aura. It was a dessert festival and I loved every bit (and bite) of it. But I also adored the table set up of a couple of the bakers.
One of my must visit places during my holiday in California last month was the newly renovated San Francisco Museum of Modern Art which reopened in May 2016. It was actually the first thing that was checked on my to do list!
I was excited to see the exhibitions but I was surprised that I loved the interior of the museum! It felt light, bright (lots of natural light!) and I love the white and light wood combination around the museum…and ohhh those comfy couches across the museum store!
I just came from the Bay Area in California where I spent the Christmas holiday with my family. One of the restaurants on my list to try this time around was Aina, a Hawaiian brunch place in Dogpatch, San Francisco that opened in 2016 . Well, I mainly wanted to go there because that’s my name!
But surprisingly, I loved their food and the restaurant’s interiors too! Even if it was a cold January morning, our brunch felt so warm and homey with their interiors. Also, the restaurant’s acoustics was not noisy and irritating (noisy restaurant acoustics is a pet peeve of mine!!)
Entrance: I adored the wooden signage of Aina (I want one for myself!)
When I heard about the Gilmore Girls Revival, I immediately did a marathon of Gilmore Girls’ seven season on Netflix. I fell in love again with Logan’s college apartment and his New York place, Rory’s pool house and of course the Dragonfly Inn.
Logan Huntzberger’s Apartments: Even if these are Bachelor pads (and I’m on Team Jess), I still love the style! Plus, I’m such a big fan of brick walls.
I love following home design Instagram accounts. If I want to see something beautiful, I go to these accounts and they’re instant pick me uppers and inspirations for not so great days! There are so many design Instagram accounts out there but here are a few of my favorites:
- Domino – one of my favorite design magazines!
Last Friday I visited the MaArte Bazaar (for the first time!) at 8 Rockwell. There were three home furniture and decor companies that I really loved. I want their pieces to be part of my home!

I’m such a big fan of bar carts and daybeds! So when I saw their bar carts, I couldn’t get over them! I first saw their booth at ArtifactPH in Alabang Town Center last July and I loved their daybed!
