Table Styling for Desserts

I attended Inquirer Lifestyle’s Best Desserts 3 book launch written by Vangie Baga-Reyes last February 6 at the SMX Convention Centre at SM Aura.  It was a dessert festival and I loved every bit (and bite) of it.  But I also adored the table set up of a couple of the bakers.


You can never go wrong with flowers.  I especially loved the teapot used as a flower vase.

Even if you just have a table, an arc made of twigs, leaves, flowers and baskets can be done!


My favourite set up at the event is this spread on a banig! I will definitely do this at my next house party.  Just so in love with this idea!

This set up is so simple yet has such a strong impact.  Mounds of biscuits and clear signs.  Period. My second favourite set up of the night!

Blue and white, one of my favourite colour combinations (and the Cunanan ensaymadas wiped out! Definitely one of the best desserts in Manila!)


I am a fan of using dolls (and stuffed toys too) at table set ups!

Last but not the least, I love unexpected plates and trays.
